Leading rhinologists from three continents share why they are joining us in Vienna this October.
"Vienna has a long and distinguished tradition in surgery and anatomy. I am delighted to bring the latest frontal sinus techniques to the next generation of rhinologists in such an inspiring setting."
"Hands-on cadaver training is irreplaceable in surgical education. This course gives participants exactly the kind of focused, supervised practice that makes a real difference at the operating table."
"Extended frontal sinus surgery requires both precise anatomical knowledge and practical confidence. I look forward to helping participants build both over these two days in Vienna."
"We built this course because we believe that great surgical training should combine the best of international expertise with genuine hands-on practice — and Vienna is the perfect place for it."
"Whether you are a resident or an experienced surgeon, this course is designed to take your endoscopic sinus surgery skills to the next level — step by step, at the dissection table."
"The role of biologics in sinus surgery is evolving rapidly. I am looking forward to sharing the latest evidence with colleagues from across Europe and discussing how we can translate it into better outcomes for our patients."

We offer four packages to suit different needs and schedules. Dissection + Lectures is our most comprehensive option — you attend all lectures on-site and participate actively in the cadaver dissection sessions. Lecture Observer includes all lectures plus the opportunity to watch the dissection sessions without performing them yourself. Lectures On-site gives you access to all lecture sessions in person at the Josephinum. Lectures Online provides full live-stream access to all lectures, ideal if you cannot travel to Vienna.
No — the dissection course is only available in combination with the lectures. The lecture programme provides the anatomical and technical foundation that the dissection sessions build upon, so both components together deliver the best learning outcome.
The Lectures Online package gives you access to the complete lecture programme via live-stream on the day, plus on-demand recordings afterwards. The dissection sessions and in-person networking are not included — for the full experience, we recommend one of the on-site packages.
If you want the full hands-on experience, choose Dissection + Lectures — places are strictly limited. If you are interested in the lectures but would like to see the dissection up close without performing it yourself, Lecture Observer is ideal. If you simply want to attend the lectures in Vienna, choose Lectures On-site. And if you cannot travel, Lectures Online lets you follow the full programme from anywhere in the world.
Yes — all four packages are accredited for 6 DFP points under the Austrian Diplom-Fortbildungs-Programm continuing medical education framework.
Feel free to contact our course coordinator Alexander Lein directly at alexander.lein@meduniwien.ac.at — he will be happy to help you find the right package based on your experience level and learning goals.
