Day 2 is dedicated entirely to hands-on dissection, building directly on the foundational skills practised on Day 1. Running from 09:00 to 15:00 at the Institute of Anatomy of the Medical University of Vienna, this six-hour session moves participants into more advanced territory: orbital approaches and dacryocystorhinostomy, frontal sinus surgery, and frontal sinus drill-out procedures. Optional modules — vidian nerve neurectomy, skull base approaches, and pterygopalatine fossa dissection — allow more experienced participants to tailor the day to their own learning goals, while those newer to advanced technique can continue refining the core procedures at their own pace, with faculty present throughout.
With a full six hours of dedicated practice time, Day 2 gives you the space to truly consolidate what you began on Day 1 and progress into more complex, technically demanding territory. The optional advanced modules mean the day adapts to you — whether you want to push further into skull base approaches, or simply spend more time perfecting frontal sinus technique. Faculty remain present at every table throughout, so no matter which path you choose, you have direct guidance available at every step.
Day 2 is where confidence becomes competence — a full day to practise, refine, and push further, with faculty by your side at every table.
